It is a fact of living in the 21st century that we have less time to spend doing the things we love than ever before. A long workday and busy schedule leaves you exhausted and doesn’t always allow you to spend as much time with your canine friend as you’d like. 

Dogs are extremely social creatures that require a lot of attention. If you spend time just observing dogs play, you will quickly learn how much fun multiple dogs can have running, romping and wrestling. It is great exercise and can burn off tons of excess energy.

 But is dog play more than just for fun? YES! Puppies and dogs will learn valuable communication and life lessons. They will also learn essential canine manners and social skills when in playgroups. Youngsters, adolescents, and even older canines can benefit from dog play and interaction. 

Never again will you have to worry about your dog being alone all day and how he may be entertaining himself. By the end of the day, we guarantee a tired, happy dog that can’t wait till his or her next visit to City Dog!

All passes must be paid in full in advance. Day passes remain valid for six months from the date of purchase. Monthly/Unlimited Pass expires after one month.

Requirements to Play

AgeAll dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age or older, with three sets of vaccinations.SexAll dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.ShotsAll dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. We will also accept titers in lieu of vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and bordatella. Rabies is required for puppies over 4 months of age.

HealthAll dogs must be in good health. Owners will be asked to certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs who have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or re-admitted.

BehaviorAll dogs must be non-aggressive and not protective of food or toys. Owners will be asked to certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog. Please remember that your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.

ApplicationAll dogs must have a complete, up-to-date, and approved enrollment form on file. There is a one time $10.00 non-refundable application screening fee for each dog. Please see daycare application for the daycare enrollment form.

BookingReservations are required for all daycare appointments. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full fees.

Canine Cab Service

City Dog offers pick-up and drop-off service in the following areas: Uptown (including 1st/2nd/3rd/4th Wards), Plaza-Midwood, Chantilly, Elizabeth, Myers Park, Dilworth, and Cotswold. The standard Canine Cab fare is $15.00 one-way. Multi-Day or Unlimited Pass holders may elect to participate in the Hip Hound Bark and Ride program which includes round-trip service for $15.00/day in addition to your Pass rate.

Welcome to the Hip Hound Hotel!

Need to arrange care for your dog that includes overnight accommodations? City Dog is pleased to offer Boarding services in addition to our standard daycare. After a full day of daycare and dinner, we will put your dog to bed in our comfortable overnight area. Each special guest will be given his or her own soft bedding, a “pillow treat” and soothing classical music. In the morning, your dog has breakfast with one of our staff members and some individual playtime before the other daycare dogs arrive. Breakfast and dinner are included in the cost of any overnight stay. We will feed your food at your request. Special diets, such as raw or home cooking are no problem. Rate: $38.00/night
